A large colorful register for a better regatta start
HEUER stopwatches cover a large range of purposes. Some of them are very specific to one speciality and feature very original dials. The yacht timers are one of them. Their registers are designed to help skippers during a regatta (boats race) start which follows a (quite complex) strict process, divided in steps (described here).
To improve legbility, the ref. 503.915 has a big and beautiful central register while other yacht timers, like the 603.615 are quite pretty small. According to professionnals, a good start is a key element in the success of a race. So an easy to read timer can be a great help for this strategic time.
