Distinctive signs

• The dial has two scales to help to measure repiration (number of breath cycles per minute) and pulsation (number of pulsations per minute). It should be mainly used by doctors and medical staff. For pulsation, 10 pulsations are timed and pulsations/minute is read on the black outside scale. For respiration, 5 breath cycles are timed and number of breath cycles/minute is read on the inner red scale.
