The HEUER ref. 403.229 is for medical staff. The dial has graduations to read quickly puls and breath (see this article). The original box which comes whith this nice condition timer gives few informations about the history of this vintage HEUER timer; a valuable add for collectors who enjoy to learn about their timepiece origins. Indeed a retailler adress is stamped inside the cover (he was firstly bought in the XXem district of Paris) and the name of  the HEUER importer (s.a.v.i.c) is printed on the side.
A beautiful HEUER timer, collectors and/or doctors will appreciate for :

  • its nice condition
  • its fully running functions (start/stop/reset)
  • the original box
  • the dial with pulsation and breath graduations

Just notice that :

  • the dial right side screw is a little bit rusty
  • the glass is very lightly blur near the number 12 (top left)
  • few small scratches on the side of the case
  • the box has signs of use (used edges, dark spots in the inside cover,  stains on the stopwatch plastic protection)
