Caliber Valjoux 57 is a top-end and accurate movement. There are 2 versions :
– a single command version : start, stop and reset to zero by consecutive depression of the crown
– a two commands version : start/stop and go on by side button and reset by crown (reset can be activated when the stopwatch is stopped)

Caliber Valjoux 57 can have a “rattrapante” (split-time) option which is activated by a pusher at 11 (as it can be seen on the above pictures and video of a HEUER ref. 572)

It was produced from the 40’s to the 70’s
